OkanaganLakeBC.com is operated by one middle aged (crazy according to some) person whom lives on the Westside of Okanagan Lake BC along Westside Road, and whom smokes. Thought that should be added, just in case it makes a difference. If smoking has anything to do with it according to some people, you may want to use the red x in the upper right corner of this webpage. We understand how smoking affects people, it turns people away because they don't want to breath the smoke LOL! So please take advantage of this warning while you can, and we don't mean the cigarette brand when we say take advantage.... sorry if you misunderstood.

OkanaganLakeBC.com doesn't exactly want to tell you who we are unless we trust you not to assassinate, as you may wish to assassinate the High Lord of this website whom is also well known as the webmaster of OkanaganLakeBC.com. OkanaganLakeBC.com is somewhat reserved in this aspect, as any lord should be. OkanaganLakeBC.com can never be on everyone's good list so we wish to stay safe.

If you live in the local area, you may know whom OkanaganLakeBC.com is and may have even met OkanaganLakeBC.com. You may even be a neighbour of OkanaganLakeBC.com, maybe even unbeknownst to you. Many people of Westside Road have met the webmaster of OkanaganLakeBC.com at one time or another and or are friends or acquaintance or have seen the website.

You may be a neighbour that wishes OkanaganLakeBC.com could do something about present problems. Or you may be a neighbour whom wishes OkanaganLakeBC.com would take a hike. But OkanaganLakeBC.com is a blacksheep in some people's eyes, so you can't count on any help coming from this end! You could try joining the North Westside Ratepayers Association or another association from your area. Whatever you do, OkanaganLakeBC.com suggests you don't join the North Westside Communities Association. There are many reasons why we suggest this. You can read about it at the link. If you need help, you could try getting up off your duff and vote next time, if you didn't vote in the last election. If you did vote, thanks! If you do a search on google for anything to do with Westside Road, most likely you will come up with a link to OkanaganLakeBC.com.

No there will be no profile photo posted of OkanaganLakeBC.com on the website. If you want a profile ... here's one OkanaganLakeBC.com is not afraid of letting local people know who we are and whom we have had interaction with in the past, but we don't want to be a sitting duck if you know what is meant by that and know anything about the internet. You never know who your friends are, and the internet is no place to find out.

If you do not reside in the local community, I feel sorry for you .. no just kidding!! I am sure you are happy with your own location because you choose your space. It's just that OkanaganLakeBC.com couldn't imagine many places being nicer than being able to boast about living along beautiful Okanagan Lake BC .... not that your local isn't any better! You just may be able to teach us a thing or two about your local by filling out the feedback form and telling us ... your never too old they say. Actually anywhere in British Columbia, is considered the best place on earth isn't it? Do we think alike or what?

By the way, just below (and on the bottom of almost every page) is a photo of the famous and beginning to be rare mauve coloured Sagebrush Mariposa Lily that grows wild here in the Central Okanagan. We have seen various colors of mauve, pink and white but not the very rare red and white one as yet. If you see the red and white Mariposa Lily please be careful and don't damage it, as it is on the species at risk list. Try and protect it if you can and who knows, maybe notify someone important.
