About Petitions to Parliament or House of Commons

If you know of other information that would be of assistance, please contact us here and tell us about it.

Petition to the House of Commons in Parliament assembled

We, the undersigned residents of Canada, draw the attention of the House to the following:

THAT incident’s of each level of government's failure
to consider the general majorities wishes with regard to
finances are becoming more and more frequent;

THAT each incident of our various levels of government's
lack of regard to the majority with regard to finances is
harmful to the public; and

THAT there would be fewer such incidents of perceived
government miss-management with regard to finances if certain
legislative measures were taken.

THEREFORE, your petitioners call upon Parliament to enact legislation against these various levels of government making financial decisions on behalf of citizens.

We, the undersigned citizens (or residents) of Canada draw the attention of the House to the following:

THAT
The reason underlying this request for intervention is that there are only a few government officials making important decisions on behalf of all citizens, some citizens of which are having a difficult time keeping up with taxes, bill payments, etc.. We wish the house to consider more democratic legislation when it comes to financial expenditures.

THEREFORE, your petitioners
Request that Parliament enact legislation to ensure consultation with the public on all financial matters which requires government advertise financial facts and figures in newspapers, at government offices, and online to solicit citizen’s votes with regard to all financial expenditures, and furthermore require that government are not permitted to decide financial matters itself but that government only direct financial matters, and furthermore recognise the right of citizens to personally control their own finances.  We further call upon Parliament to enact legislation that require petitions, referendums, and surveys be binding on all levels of government while at the same time abolish the current “Alternative Approval Process” or change it and add a yes vote to it.
