Congratulations and Thank You TAXPAYERS of B.C. for the W.R.Bennett Bridge AND THE Birthday Party, the official opening of the WR Bennett Bridge on May 25 2008. Thank you Former Premier WR Bennett for using the Birthday Party to promote the corridors and infrastructure that Kelowna and B.C. needs. The second crossing for Lake Okanagan is needed. The students in secondary school Penticton noticed this when they wrote essays about Penticton and the Highway Infrastructure. They also noted that the highway to the United States is the economy of Penticton: Trucking. I would like to see this Bridge built soon for the Transportation Infrastructure that with foresight WAC Bennett noted and along with the Fathers of Confederation: Pierre Burton The Last spike. A second Bridge in Kelowna will connect to our coast, Whistler, and the "Gorbachev" Tunnel? from Russia to Alaska and the Constitution Tunnel Crossing Richmond to Vancouver Island and the Bridges that will protect Vancouver Island and also connect it to Washington State. I HATE the new bridge and would be so happy if it sunk with all the people that worked on it. What the heck is wrong with the old bridge, and I miss it, because I loved it, and the people had to destroy it. I think I just might take a piece out of that f*&ked up new bridge!!!
