My family owns property on the Lake right beside this proposed development. (for the last 40 years). I have seen the Kokanee spawn there for years. There is also a spring nearby, remnants of the Okanagan Fur Brigade Trail etc. etc. La Casa, up the road took 20 years to develop and what a eyesore/mess it was with clearcutting the whole hill. The area doesn't logically warrant multiple lots of that density. Other parts of the region do. However, Westside Road already is becoming more dangerous than it was when it was a old gravel road. Fixing 1.7 kms of it is nothing more than a band-aid while adding yet even more traffic to the area.
