Smokers rights in restaurants now? I'm a smoker and would never dream of it. Smoke outside or in your own home. Get with the times.

The past smoking debate has been against the non-smokers with the present smoking debate against the smokers. Where is the happy medium? Making it against the law to smoke in all restaurants and work places does not allow freedom of choice. Why can't we have one smoking and another non-smoking restaurant? The restaurant that allows smoking could have a sign that reads "smoking only" instead of a sign that reads "non-smoking only"? Management and employees would have to sign waivers and agree to smoke in order to work there! Or maybe they would have to prove they are a smoker or something. At the same time non-smokers do not want smokers to infringe upon their rights, smokers don't want the non-smokers to infringe upon their rights either.
