COMMENTS
I believe in user pays. I do not approve of raising the taxes at this time. If the Killiney Beach Hall is in need of repair then perhaps it would be prudent to raise the membership fees to help with costs. The members who use the facility should be happy to help in the funding by paying $20. for a membership and whatever is necessary for fund raising. Also, I question the need for some of these proposed improvements. We have a small group of people involved here and until there is a larger number of people ready to pay, maintain and use the facilities, it isn't necessary to incur more costs at this time. Any proposals regarding taxation should only be approved with a referendum.
