With the incorporation of the Westside District Municipality, this Regional Board committee is no longer active. It's work is now done by the Governance and Services Committee.

Planning and Environment Committee Minutes

The members of the Sustainability Steering Committee include the four Mayors of municipalities in the Central Okanagan (City of Kelowna, District of Lake Country, District of Peachland and Westside District Municipality) and the Chair of the Regional District of Central Okanagan board. The committee is chaired by Robert Hobson while Peachland Mayor Graham Reid is Vice-Chair. Meetings of the Sustainability Steering Committee are open to the public and are established at the call of the chair.
