First search engine registration is free, and each search engine registration after that will cost $3.00 each. We will place your website in the highest position possible in each of any of the search engines you choose. Our webmaster services are not $50.00 hour like http://www.nwcr.ca/ ... they are a lot less, but we are not going to post that here, because of new competition whom stole our website idea, about two months after our website went up. They will probably steal our prices too.
The other problem I have with http://www.nwcr.ca/ is that they use the mailto: link right on their web pages, without encrypting it. Email spammers or harvesters can spider or crawl the mailto: email link and add it to their database to email you spam junk email. It is dangerous to do this, as that is how some email viruses get sent to you. The mailto: link that okanaganlakebc.com uses is converted into an encrypted code so that email harvesters cannot grab your email address off our web pages and use it to email you some junk. You can double check what we are telling you by looking at one of our web pages with an email address on it (it needs to be an email address that you click on to email a person). While looking at our web page, click in the top menu of Internet Explorer on view/source. You will not be able to read any email addresses looking at our web pages this way. If you can read an email address this way, it means that the email address is available for the email harvester to grab it. If you click on view /source on other websites web pages, you will be able to tell if the email addresses are encrypted or not. If you can read it ... then its not encrypted. Be careful placing classified ads. A form to fill out to send information (email) over the internet, or an encrypted email link is much safer than a plain old unencrypted mailto: email link that you click on.
